Our reading of the offer
Compare the right things
Acne medicines have different jobs. Retinoids, antibiotics, hormonal treatments and salicylic-acid blends should be compared by the diagnosed problem and the prescriber’s plan, not by the number of ingredients.
Context: AAD acne guidance ↗ · FDA on compounded medicines ↗.
Before starting or switching
Ask the prescriber to review allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, other medicines and the exact treatment area. Follow the dispensed label and seek advice for significant irritation.
- What exact ingredients, strengths and dosage form will I receive?
- What is the full first charge, quantity, refill schedule and cancellation policy?
- When should treatment be reassessed, and how do I contact the clinician?
These are questions for a licensed clinician, not instructions to start, stop or change a prescription. Read the product’s complete safety information.
CoreAge Rx is placed first because it is this publication’s promoted recommendation. No head-to-head clinical testing supports a claim that it is better or safer than Likeness Rx Clear Skin Cream.
